Salisbury ABC had three boxers competing in the National Junior Northern Quarter Finals in Wakefield today. We came away with two wins (one stoppage, one unanimous) and 1 lose which was a very close bout that could have gone either way resulting in a split decision.

Tom McEvoy beat Liam Craven of Camp Detox ABC in the 36kg junior cadet quarter final in a first round TKO ,Tom will now go on to box Midlands Kallum Wood of Aston ABC in the next round.

Jack Shea beat Hicky Smith of Airedale ABC in the 63kg junior cadet quarter final by a points decision,  Jack will now go on to box the winner of the Midlands quarter final bout which is between Billy Revell of Burton Park ABC and Joel Suffolk Atherstone ABC.

Sean Arkwright lost to Donte Dixon of Manor ABC in the 63kg junior quarter final on a split decision.

Reece Sloan has a bye to the next round of the competition where he will be facing Midland counties Luke Stanley of Alcester ABC in the 75kg semi finals.
